Friends of Moon's Moat

The Friends of Moon's Moat are a group of parents, teachers and staff who are responsible for fundraising and organising fun, social events.

We had a very popular 'Secret Shop' for Mother's Day last year and the children had great fun at their Spring Magic Show. Our Easter Egg Decorating Competition was really well supported with some amazing eggs entered. Our School Nurse chose the winners and they were awarded Easter eggs in assembly.

Our Summer and Christmas Fairs were some of our busiest yet!

We are planning an event for Easter this year and, of course, will be organising a Summer Fair.

We have recently raised enough money to have a bike & scooter rack installed on the playground, an outside PA system which we used at the Summer Fair and Sports Days and some artificial grass for the Nursery play area.

The equipment provided by the Friends Association benefits all the children in school.

Without your help we would not be able to raise any money or have successful events.  We rely on parents helping as little or much as they can.  If you are able to help in any way at all please speak with one of the committee members.

Following the AGM on 2nd October, 2019 the following officers were elected:

Andrea Reid (Nursery Assistant) - Chair

Sarah Crane (school office) - Secretary

Clare Willis - Vice Chair

Jackie Foster (school office) - Treasurer

Seven other committee members attended the meeting.
