Governors work with the Headteacher to
- provide the best education possible for your child
- establish clear policies for the school
- ensure that the school’s budget is spent wisely
- interview and appoint staff
- foster good relationships with parents and the wider community
Governors are fully involved in the life of Moon’s Moat Nursery & First School and contribute to the School Development Plan. Governors are appointed for a four year period (except for the Headteacher who is entitled to be governor whilst in post).
