Welcome to Year 4!
In year 4 our teacher is Mrs Beddow. Our teaching assistants are Mrs Blake and Miss Jones.
This half term our topic is
Chocolate
This half term, we will be looking at where chocolate comes from, how cocoa beans are grown and how beans are transported and manufactured into yummy chocolate. We will also be designing and producing our own delicious chocolate products.

This half term our PE days will be Monday and Thursday. Children can attend school wearing PE kit on these days. We will also be continuing with our swimming lessons on Tuesdays too.
Homework
We expect children to read at least 4 times each week. Children should bring their reading diary in each day.
We will also set a piece of homework each Friday, to be handed in by the following Friday. This should support the learning we have been doing in the classroom.
We also continue to learn spellings and times tables each week.
At the end of the half term, we will reward children who have read and completed their homework consistently.
